Getting ready for a new baby is so exciting and got me into full planning mode. I always love a checklist and especially while I was pregnant, so here is mine for getting ready for new baby. A lot of these things are optional like taking a babymoon and birth announcements, but many of these are “musts” in my book too like taking an infant CPR class and updating your will. Hopefully this helps you think through your own “to do’s” as you get ready for your little one to arrive.

Months 2 – 3

    • Decide who/when/how you will tell people about the baby
    • Think about names (we liked the fun Babyname app)
    • Set up baby registry (Babylist and Amazon are good options)
    • Think about childcare options (e.g., nanny, daycare, family, staying home, etc.)
    • Make a list of childcare options
